The Phoenix Art Museum will host a talk by SP-Arte founder and executive director Fernanda Feitosa this wednesday (January 13) about art fairs and the international market.
Feitosa states, “When I began with SP-Arte, my main goal was to introduce modern and contemporary art to as many people as possible. Brazil has an extensive involvement with art history but now more than ever the world is interested in what we have to say and what we have to offer. There are always new challenges, but what we want is to create a network of galleries, artists, collectors and people interested in art.”
“The Rise and Importance of the International Art Fair: An Evening with Fernanda Feitosa” will take place at Whiteman Hall and admission is Free from 6:30pm.
The conversation is part of the Contemporary Forum series and is sponsored by Fennemore Craig, P.C.
