SP-Arte’s last edition welcomed 35,500 visitors and hosted 160 exhibitors from 13 different countries including Galleria Continua, David Zwirner, Elba Benitez, Franco Noero, Lisson Gallery and neugerriemschneider.
In 2020, SP-Arte returns offering the unique opportunity of bringing international exhibitors closer to Brazil’s solid collectorship. From 1 April, Bienal’s emblematic building will be fully taken by the Art category, divided in: Main, Solo and Masters sectors, and Design presenting: New Designers, Traditional Furniture and Architetcs. In addition to the gallery programme, SP-Arte has an intense agenda of events and exhibition openings throughout the city of São Paulo.
On the applications form you can learn more about each sector. If you’re interested in joining us, please apply by 4 October.
All applications will be reviewed by SP-Arte’s Selection Comittee as well as by our curatorial team. Should you have any questions, we are happy to assist you through our email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Founded in 2005, SP-Arte has become an essential part of the international arts calendar and Latin America’s key arts Festival. Every year in April, SP-Arte kicks off a dynamic agenda of events at galleries, museum and cultural spaces that bring together local and international curators, collectors, artists and museum leaders.
“We’ve returned to SP-Arte each year for the past seven because we enjoy a long-term working relationship with the collectorship of Brazil. We find the fair a site for genuine cultural exchange—Brazil has such a rich and singular heritage, be it under the influence of the Neo-Concrete Movement, Tropicália or, of course, its inimitable architecture. Working in the unique setting of SP-Arte continues to be a rewarding experience for us.” Burkhard Riemschneider, Co-Founder of neugerriemschneider, Berlin
