Verhoeven, Joep & Jeroen were born in 1976, and live and work in Amsterdam. The Twins' work combines the fantastic with the practical: it is function and form turned into mystical narrative, where the supple feather-light impressions of dreams become objects that we can see, touch and most importantly use in our everyday lives.
Among the national and international exhibitions in which they participated are “Digitally Mastered: Recent Acquisitions from the Museum’s Collection” (2007), at Museum of Modern Art, New York; “New Energy in Design and Art” (2011), at Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, Rotterdam; “Design Miami” (2018), at Carpenters Workshop Gallery, Miami Beach; and “New Works” (2019), at Carpenters Workshop Gallery, Paris.
