Sérgio Sister

Brazil, 1948

About

The artist explores the gestural quality of brushstrokes in rough textures, contrasted with others in a more impersonal style. In the small-sized canvases created between 1988 and 1992, he works with strips of color in similar tones, using short brushstrokes and metallic paints.
