Rafael Pagatini was born in Caxias do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, in 1985, and lives and works in Vitória, Espírito Santo. He is an artist and researcher with experience in the area of arts and emphasis on artistic practice. He has a Master's degree from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2012) and a PhD in visual poetics from Unicamp (2017).
