Joe Seiler
Born to Brazilian parents in New York. At age 3 his family moved to Rio de Janei-ro, where he spent his childhood and early adult years. The artist moved to Cali-fornia at age 18 where he would eventually earned a degree in Fine Arts from the University of San Diego. In 2018 he earned a Master of Fine Arts degree from Goldsmiths University in London.
Pushing and exaggerating the gesture of the scribble with ballpoint pens, he has been working somewhere in between drawing and painting with the complete satu-ration of ink on paper.
Joe Seiler has participated in solo and collective exhibits in Rio de Janeiro, San Diego and London since 2012. He has participated in ArtRio Art Fair - 2018, 2018, 2019 e 2020, at Martha Pagy Escritório de Arte.
