Operating as the first gallery of contemporary art in Curitiba since 1984, the Galeria Zilda Fraletti has fomented the local and national artistic scenario, boosting the trajectory of established artists and instigating new talents. In the beginning, the organisation of art consortia met the need for democratizing the acquisition of works of art and instigated the creation of collections, as well as a public of contemporary art lovers. Currently, besides holding regular exhibitions and participating in national and international fairs, it holds courses, book launches, lectures, workshops and other events to encourage a comprehensive and productive debate. Strongly committed to its artists, the gallery carefully assesses their production and directly works for the full development of their careers.
