Roberto Alban Art Gallery has dedicated 30 years to Brazilian Art and in 2013 marked its trajectory with the opening of new headquarters, especially designed to host and promote Brazilian Contemporary Art.
The gallery offers its represented artists, guest curators, collectors and the public a building prepared to receive ambitious exhibitions of different artistic languages in 1.500sqm divided in three floors, with a headroom of 8m in the main room.
Annually, the gallery carries out 4 to 5 solo shows of its represented artists, or group exhibitions organized by guest curators, which gives more visibility to the artists’ production through publications and marketing focused on institutions, collectors and the public.
The gallery encourages the participation of curators in its projects aiming at fostering the dialogue between artists, who may be from the 70s, 80s like Almandrade, Iole de Freitas, Paulo Whitaker, Luiz Hermano, Daniel Feingold or part of the new generation such as Raul Mourão, Maria Lynch, Lara Viana, Álvaro Seixas, Guilherme Dable, among others.
The Art Shows Arte SP and Art Rio are also part of the gallery’s calendar. Participation in these shows are special occasions to divulge the represented artists internationally, and for this purpose, the gallery works in a consistent way with curators invited for the project.
