Paula Juchem graduated in industrial design / visual programming at Santa Maria Federal University, Brazil, in 19xx (você coloca o ano?).
She worked as layout designer at Editora Abril, and traced her first steps as illustrator using crayons and collage techniques.
From 1997 (certo?) to 2012 she lived and worked in Milan, where she developed design projects for Italian, French and British brands, such as Cassina, Editora Salani, Non Sans Raison, Primigi, The Conran Shop.
Since 2012, she has been living and working in São Paulo. Here, she created her first collection of decal illustrated plates that were then exhibited at Design Gallery Milano, during 2012 Salone del Mobile.
She was shortlisted for the Bradesco Designer of the year prize in 2017 and 2018 at MADE design fair.
In 2017 she showed her Alquimias collection at Firma Casa in São Paulo, a series of thirteen ceramics developed exclusively for the gallery.
Paula teaches Tridimensional Illustration at EBAC (British School of Creative Arts) and Free Ceramics at SuperBacana+.
