About

Established in the art market as one of the leading national galleries, Almeida & Dale Art Gallery has been active in the Brazilian and international art markets for over 20 years. Under the direction of Ana Dale, Carlos Dale Junior and Antonio Almeida, the gallery has already placed into the most important collections of the country, significant artworks by modern and contemporary artists, such as Candido Portinari, Di Cavalcanti, Cicero Dias, Beatriz Milhazes, Cildo Meireles and Adriana Varejão.

Since 2012, within its space in the Jardim Paulista neighborhood, the gallery has held individual exhibitions involving careful and extensive work of historical research conducted by partner curator on unique artists that are extremely important in the history of Brazilian art. These are examples of seminal and museological relevance. In 2018, the gallery presented the legacy of Mestre Didi and organized an extensive retrospective of Milton Dacosta.

The Almeida & Dale Art Gallery also supports institutional projects which aim to disseminate great names of Brazilian art throughout the country and abroad.

Currently, the Gallery is marking the career of Farnese de Andrade with the exhibition "Farnese de Andrade - Imaginary Memories", which runs from March 23 until May 25, 2019.
