Mark Bradford was revealed as the United States representative for the pavilion at the 57th Venice Biennale, which is scheduled to open May 2017. In 2014, the artist had a solo exhibition at White Cube’s São Paulo outpost and had works exhibited at SP-Arte. Reflecting on Bradford’s work, the website Artspace rescued an article written by Adriano Pedrosa, artistic director of Masp. Very worth reading!
This new website and mobile app, Artikin organizes exhibitions in São Paulo in chronological order (which gives us a sense of urgency to visit!) The app also suggests routes for certain neighborhoods in the city, which is very helpful when planning visits to galleries and cultural centers. It also offers art history video lessons!
