SP-Arte/Foto and ARTE!Brasileiros promote series of debates Talks/Foto: Perspectivas

SP-Arte/Foto, in a partnership with ARTE!Brasileiros magazine, promotes the series of conversations of its 2016 edition: Talks/Foto: Perspectivas.

Featuring international specialists, the debates will highlight themes such as: different views on photography; tendencies and challenges ahead the photography market; and photo as archive and collective memory.

The talks are scheduled between August 25 and 26 at JK Iguatemi shopping mall, in São Paulo. Enrolment for the event is free and can be made from July 25 through this link.

– Jeff Rosenheim, photography curator at MET – Metropolitan Museum of Art
– Pannel: Brett Rogers, OBE, director of The Photographers’ Gallery, London; and Joaquim Paiva, photographer and collector. Mediation: Simonetta Persichetti, special editor at ARTE!Brasileiros

August 26th (friday), 4h30 pm

– Christopher Phillips, curator at ICP – International Center of Photography
– Pannel: Joerg Bader, director of Centre Photographie Geneve; and Hélio Campos Mello, journalist and director at Brasileiros Editora. Mediation: Simonetta Persichetti,special editor at ARTE!Brasileiros
