Moving between graphic and pictorial, Ana Júlia Vilela (Belo Horizonte, Brazil, 1996) reworks the instant vocabulary of social media into her own iconography, filled with fluid forms and non-linear narratives. Text is a recurrent element in her paintings, drawings and prints, giving form to daily life chronicles that intersperse humor, pop culture and self-fiction.
