“In the forests, after the loggers cut down the trees, they 'drag' the logs, which means moving them to a logistical outlet. I collected pieces of logs and branches from fallen trees on city streets or in parks. I worked on these logs and interfered with glass that, still fluid, crawls along the wood to absorb its shape. Wanting to give new life to a tree at the end of its cycle, I create my own drag. Each sculpture contains a breath of life affirming the richness of a tree, and the value of keeping them standing.”
