Marcus André invests in the construction and deconstruction of affective spaces, establishing organic narratives of traces and lines, mental spaces of a nature contaminated by the advent of the industrial and social organization, vestiges of the everyday human. The artist reaches the sublime, extracting two basic and ancient techniques from painting; encaustic painting and tempera, a result in which you see what you touch, the result of the addition of several layers, overlapping pictorial skins, giving a contemporary narrative that brings to the present the use of such laborious techniques.
