About

Fabiano Rodrigues was born in Santos, in 1974, and lives and works in São Paulo. The artist transits through photography, collage, video art and performance. Self-taught, Rodrigues explores in his photographic work the relationship of his own body with the architecture and landscape of urban centers.

Among the national and international exhibitions in which he participated are the solo exhibitions "Ratsrepus", at Galeria Andrea Rehder (São Paulo, 2016), and at Galeria Kogan Amaro (São Paulo, 2019); and the group shows "Mostra Transfer", at Santander Cultural (Porto Alegre, 2008), and "Roundabout 2 Film Festival" (Berlim, 2018).

The artist was recognized with the awards "Melhor Vídeo Arte", at MIMPI Film Festival (Rio de Janeiro, 2015) and Artista Comissionado ao Clube de de Fotografia do MAM (São Paulo, 2017). Your works integrates important collections such as Museu de Arte Contemporânea da Universidade de São Paulo (MAC-USP), Museu de Arte do Rio (MAR) and Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo.
