Brazil, 1990

About

André Arçari is a multimedia artist, researcher, theoretician and independent critic. He develops works in the practical field, that gain a tension between still and moving images in a short circuit between digital and analogical photographs, as in non-narrative, authorial or conceived by reprocessing cinematographic images, through the notions of quase-cinema and expanded cinema, thus investigating space and time as constitutive and inseparable elements to the understanding of their production.

He has a degree in Visual Arts from the Federal University of Espírito Santo and a master's degree (2017) from the same institution, where he also works as a student at the Research Laboratory in Art Theories and Processes in Arts (LabArtes).
