→ Expand art access by forming new audiences;

→ Encourage business in creative economy and professional strengthening of all agents in the art chain;

→ Promote artists and their production;

→ Boost national and international exchanges and Brazil’s presence in the global arts scene.

Projects

SP–Arte is a cultural production house that is built around three main projects.

SP–Arte
Since 2005, SP–Arte – São Paulo’s International Art Festival – is a global art event that brings together renowned art and design galleries, presenting, in every edition, over 5,000 artworks and 2,000 artists in the historical Oscar Niemeyer Bienal Pavilion. During the event, local museums and cultural institutions host a strong parallel program including panel discussions, exhibition openings, and special visits that offer an overview of São Paulo’s contemporary art circuit. SP–Arte plays an essential role in Latin America’s art market and strongly contributes with Brazil’s creative economy.

Next edition: April 03 to 07 2024

Rotas Brasileiras
Focusing on selected projects, whether solo or collective, Rotas Brasileiras seeks to strengthen ties between the five regions of the country, valuing the diversity and the plurality of the artistic production of the entire Brazilian territory. The fair takes place annually at ARCA, in Vila Leopoldina, accompanied by a program of lectures, editorial launches and other events that speak to its thematic lines. Rotas Brasileiras succeeds SP–Foto, a traditional August event that, in 2022, grew to cover multiple artistic languages, besides photography.

Next edition: August 28 to September 01 2024

SP–ARTE.COM
SP–ARTE.COM is a digital platform that aims to connect the Festival’s galleries to art collectors and buyers from all across the globe. With this online model, our goal is to foster Brazil’s art market by contributing with and being a reliable source for new collectors base and ensuring business activities to our exhibitors not only throughout our events date but all year round. In March 2022, we have incorporated the Online Viewing Room functionalities and now videos, audios and artwork presentation in a scenario become permanent resources in this platform.
