20 Jan 2017, 11:25 am

It’s already time: registrations are open for the new edition of the Performance sector of SP-Arte, a partnership with the Centro Universitário Belas Artes de São Paulo [University Center of Fine Arts of São Paulo].

Started in 2015 by newly graduated students of Belas Artes, the project welcomed Brazilian performers from all over the country in its second edition, in 2016. This year, again will be chosen ten performances, whether or not trained in any educational institution, for presentations that will take place at SP-Arte/2017.

To participate in the selection, artists must register their works by the e-mail edital@belasartes.br until February 10. It is necessary to send the completed registration form, as well as performances descriptive and images.

The candidates will be evaluated by a committee formed by Cauê Alves and Roberto Bertani, professors and coordinators of Bela Artes; Solange Farkas, curator and director of the Associação Cultural Videobrasil; Paula Garcia, artist; And Fernanda Feitosa, director and founder of SP-Arte.

The selection will be announced on February 20 and, in the weeks to precede the presentations, the selected ones will have a project follow-up with Garcia, which will have online and on-site conversations. Check here the details, available only in Portuguese.
