SP-Arte and Belas Artes announce the performances selected for the Festival

14 Mar 2017, 9:30 am

For the third year, and in partnership with Centro Universitário Belas Artes de São Paulo, SP-Arte presents a sector exclusively dedicated to performances. Spearheaded, in 2015, by recent Belas Artes graduates, the project opened its doors to names from all over Brazil in its second edition (2016). This year, once again, graduates or not from any educational institution were chosen to present performances at SP-Arte/2017.

Applicants were evaluated by a committee composed by Cauê Alves and Roberto Bertani, professors and coordinators from Belas Artes; Solange Farkas, curator and director of Associação Cultural Videobrasil; Paula Garcia, artist; and Fernanda Feitosa, director and founder of SP-Arte.

90 performance applications were received from different states in Brazil. Of the total, nine were selected for presentations on all days of the event.

List of projects selected:

Repetidamente Repetente, by Erica Storer
Ratsrepus, by Fabiano Rodrigues
Status Quo / O toque me convence que sou real, by Felipe Cidade
Tempo-revés, by Lucas Dupin
Gravidade Existencial, by Helio Tafner
Psicografando Tunga, by Andressa Cartegiani
Burcas Flutuantes, by Aline Tima
